IKEA Foundation
On Thursday 19th March, RCN’s biennial Nordic Global Concerns Day was held on campus with workshops led by students on Nordic topics as diverse as mythology, monarchy, fishing, peacekeeping and refugees, socialism and knitting. The Nansen Academy
On Monday 16th March, Arne Osland (Director of Devlopment) and Richard (Larry) Lamont (Rektor) visited the Nansen Academy in Lillehammer. The Academy was founded in 1938 as a protest against the totalitarian ideologies in Europe and was named after Fridtjof Nansen, the Norwegian polar explorer, scientist, author and humanist. Northern Lights
During her visit to RCN last year and in a discussion in the Physics lab on the northern lights phenomenon, H.M. Queen Sonja recommended we invite Dr. Pål Brekke to the College.
